We would like to make your visit with us as comfortable as
possible. Your health and well-being are our primary concern.
Peninsula Endoscopy Centre was established as a Private Day
Hospital in January 1989 with the sole aim of providing an
optimum standard of health care in Endoscopy to the community
of Frankston and its surrounds.
Our commitment continues to strengthen and in February 1992
the Peninsula Endoscopy Centre was the first private facility
on the Peninsula to be awarded Accreditation with the Australian
Council of Health Care Standards.

This is the highest recognition that can be given to a Private

Are there risks involved?
As with any surgical procedure, complications are possible although
rare. That is why all medical practitioners associated with Peninsula
Endoscopy Centre are fully qualified specialists in their respective
fields - gastroenterologists, surgeons, anaesthetists and nurses.
Potential transmission of disease, particularly hepatitis B, C
and AIDS is avoided by maintenance and surveillance of the highest
possible standard of cleaning and disinfection of equipment following
stringent infection control guidelines.
We are presently the only facility in the region with the latest
equipment specifically designed to facilitate the cleaning of all
channels.
Peninsula Endoscopy Centre has an unblemished safety record of
more than 20 years.
